Our commitment

Edmond CPA Firm wants every business owner to be able to learn about our services and reach us, whatever device, browser or assistive technology they use. We work to make this website accessible to people with disabilities and easy to use for everyone.

Conformance status

This website is intended to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA (opens in a new tab). We built and checked it against those guidelines ourselves; it has not yet been audited by an independent third party, so we describe it as intended to conform rather than fully conformant.

What we have done

  • Text and interface colors meet WCAG AA contrast ratios, including text placed over photographs and tinted panels.
  • Every part of the page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to content" link.
  • Headings, landmarks and lists are marked up so screen readers can move through the page in a logical order.
  • Passages written in Spanish are marked with the Spanish language, so screen readers pronounce them correctly.
  • Form fields have visible labels, required fields say "(required)" in text, and errors are described in words next to the field.
  • Buttons and form controls are at least 48 by 48 pixels, links meet the 24-pixel minimum, and the layout reflows to a 320-pixel-wide screen without sideways scrolling.
  • Meaningful images have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
  • There is no autoplaying audio or video. If your device asks for reduced motion, smooth scrolling and animations are turned off.

Compatibility

The site is designed to work with current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on desktop and mobile, and with common screen readers such as NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver and TalkBack.

Known limitations

  • Our client portal and sign-up pages run on TaxDome, a third-party service. We don't control their accessibility, but we're happy to help you another way, such as by phone or email.
  • The contact form opens your own email app with your message ready to send. If that doesn't work on your device, please call or email us directly.
  • We review the site regularly, and some content may still fall short as we update it. Please tell us if you find a barrier.
